On February 22, 2025, the All God's Children Club of Arizona celebrates Black History Month in recognition of African Americans who have made tremendous contributions to the American Story. The A.G.C. Collector's Club of Arizona proudly recognizes the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment for their unwavering dedication to historical preservation and education, ensuring that the stories of the Buffalo Soldiers continue to inspire future generations.
NOW, THEREFORE, I Corey Woods, Mayor of the City of Tempe, Arizona do hereby declare:
On February 22, 2025 as the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment RECOGNITION DAY in Tempe, Arizona.
Since 2009, the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory, Mesa, have been awarded proclamations for "Buffalo Soldiers Day," which has been observed.
