Buffalo Soldiers were African American Soldiers who mainly served on the Western Frontier following the American Civil War.  Let them proudly sit equally among the heroes who helped defend, build, and settle our great nation.  The Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza is an urban park and gathering place in front of the Arizona State Capitol complex in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.  One of the Phoenix Points of Pride, it is the site of various memorials honoring prominent figures, wars, and events in Arizona

Cmdr. Fred Marable, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and Deputy Cmdr. Michelle London-Marable  proposed monument  to be erect at the Arizona's State Capitol, Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza in Phoenix, Arizona to honor Buffalo Soldiers, 9th and 10th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry, 1866 - 1902.

We were honored at our recent 2019 Military Day to have the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory, Mesa, Arizona perform interpretations of the songs, 'Buffalo Soldier' and "America the Beautiful.'  Here is a video tribute to their spontaneous performance.  Spearheaded by this organization, they are seeking funding to build a Buffalo Soldiers AZ Territory Monument at our State Capitol, the Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza.    Commander Fred Marable and Deputy Commander Michelle London, Founders
